I had a hair consultation with Serina maybe 3 years ago and I can never forget it! She is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to hair that you can ever know. She is extremely passionate about hair health and growth and she has invested time and effort to learn about hair specifically. I got smedium bohemian knotless braids done by Alana and I absolutely love it!
This was my first time getting my hair braided by someone other than myself and I’m so happy I chose this place for my first experience. From the moment I walked in Alana was all ready for me and there was no wait time…which I LOVED. My braids took about 6 hours, however it felt like the time went by so fast because the vibes in the salon were vibing !!! Excellent service and attention to detail! I’ve been going to Serina for about 2 years now and she’s been nothing short of great since our first encounter. She’s not only professional, but educated in her field of work (seriously). She understands hair textures and informs you of the best styles for your hair/scalp. With that level of assurance, it puts your mind at ease. To get pampered without second guessing is a luxury all in itself! I’ll continue to maintain my locs with Serina until her hands no longer work! For EVERY and ANY occasion, BIG or SMALL (she even did my hair for my wedding day! I have been coming to Serina for almost a decade and gotten my hair taken care of. All hair types, she works well with. She also teaches you how to care for your hair at home and she has incredible knowledge with the technicality of her art. With a huge update from home, to different shops, to her own Hair Studio is an amazing testimony of being humble through life's adversaries.  Serina is very well known in Toronto and she's already been around the globe being asked to come to their location(s) receive her hair services (if that doesn't tell you that you need her, then idk). Well-known celebrities keep coming back to her and Toronto Star Newspaper believes in her craft-- same with her returning clients!
